House of Sweden is a Swedish masterpiece on the banks of the Potomac River, the only venue in Washington, D.C., where clients have a choice of caterers and panoramic views of the river, Kennedy Center, Air Force Memorial and Watergate Complex.

With over 12,000 square feet of meeting and event space, we are able to accommodate groups from 2 to 500 guests in a unique minimalist Scandinavian environment in the heart of historic Georgetown. Please note that we are not able to host weddings and other private social events, such as birthdays, anniversaries and mitzvahs.

The hall - with its spacious lobby, flanked by two 10 ft. high running waterfalls - is an ideal setting for business receptions and banquets or for seated theater-style settings for any project presentation, panel discussion or seminar.

The spacious Alfred Nobel Hall, in black box theater style, is the perfect space for receptions, seminars and conferences.

In addition, its excellent acoustics and audio and visual equipment makes it a supreme space for concerts and performances where a stage or a dance floor are available for setup. The hall can be divided into two separate spaces which can be used individually or combined.

Room 1, an intimate conference room on House of Sweden’s first floor, is ideal for smaller meetings or as a breakout room at a larger event.

Room 3, with its natural light flowing into the room, holds the latest in presentation and communication equipment for business meetings, video conferences and executive interviews.

The room may be used individually or as a breakout room during bigger events.

86” Sharp interactive 4K LED screen with 6840X2160 resolution. Monitor has built-in audio, touch screen capability (when connected to USB), with built-in white board. Can connect via HDMI and USB connections conveniently located in the conference room table, or through the wireless USB dongle.

Crestron UC-SB10CAM video conference smart sound bar and camera. This unit, once connected to a laptop via the conveniently located HDMI and USB connections in the conference room table, enables the camera, speakers and microphone to show up as USB audio and video devices in any web or app based video conferencing systems (ie; Zoom, Skype, Go to Meeting, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, etc.).

Located on House of Sweden’s first floor, the Atrium is in the center of all the halls and conference rooms – a perfect space for informal gatherings, evening cocktail receptions and buffets.

With a great view of Rock Creek, highlighted by both indoor and outdoor reflective pools and separated by a floor-to-ceiling glass wall, guests may mingle both inside the Atrium and step outside on the stone walkway overlooking the creek.
